My Oily Recipes for Chemical Free Products

Our skin absorbs so many chemicals – so after going oily I started slowly removing chemicals that we put on our skin!

Check out the Environmental Working Group if you are curious about the toxicity of your beauty products and cleaners in your home.

I have recipes for my top offenders:

I started using vinegar/baking soda/hydrogen peroxide DIY cleaners over 3 years ago when I was pregnant with my first baby. I didn’t want to breathe any harsh chemicals while pregnant. My husband and I are not a fan of the scent vinegar leaves behind, but we suffered through it because wasn’t harmful and it is cheap!  However, since going oily, I have a new favorite household cleaner — Thieves cleaner! I use it on everything and it leaves my bathrooms, sinks, toilets, floors, countertops, and even mirrors smelling like cinnamon!
