DIY Play Dough with Essential Oils
We have been home SO long and needed something new to make together! So this morning the kids and I made this DIY Play Dough that I found on the Young Living Blog — and it was SO easy!
I remember my mom making it with my brothers and I when I was little! She would double the recipe so that there was plenty. This recipe is enough for 3 children to each have a ball of dough.
The kids loved getting to choose any scent from our starter kit — Abbey chose Lavender (purple bottle), Jared chose Citrus Fresh (he loves how it smells!) and I chose Peace and Calming for Colby (because he woke up a bit grumpy today!)
The only ingredient you might not have on hand is the Cream of Tarter!
The kids got to choose from 12 oils in this starter kit and some other ways we use them in our family! After trying another brand of essential oils, my Abbey broke out in a rash. So we found Young Living, I learned how they plant, harvest, and distill without adding any fillers — and our family has been using them for almost SIX years!
